- Taught Drawing 1 and Advanced Drawing as adjunct faculty
- Wrote, evaluated and updated core curriculum
Developed and implemented (and re-evaluated)
assessment lessons. - Developed a Library Study Project which encouraged students to experience, evaluate
and write about images from art history from their personal perspective.
- Pioneered an annual drive to petition for funding to expand the college library's
collection of drawing books and online visual resources.
- Investigated ways for students to explore methods of preparation and display of their
work; learning to see beyond the studio work toward the presentation of their work
as a whole.
- Worked with department chair and drawing teaching staff to consistently evaluate
approaches to grading and grading rubrics.
- Helped students review and evaluate their developing body of work and prepare for
portfolio reviews as part of a transfer or application process to art schools.
- Participated in student wide critiques, generally supporting the broader art community
of the college in dialoging about art and the making process.
- Prepared and hung works for student exhibitions.
- Participated in Faculty Exhibitions and table discussions about my work.

Seniors Making Art (1996)
- Taught a collage and mixed media class to elderly residents living in an in-care
facility. The internationally renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly started this program,
providing much needed arts for seniors in the community.

- Teaching 12 hrs/wk of private and small group yoga lessons throughout the Main Line
and surrounding Philadelphia area.
- As a way of giving back to the community, I donate all funds generated from a 'Community
Yoga Class' offered seasonally at the United Church of Christ at Valley Forge to
the Great Valley Food Cupboard
